Dear Quick Consols Account Admin
With most of 2024 already in our rearview mirror we have pleasure in releasing our final update for the year. Thanks again for all your valuable feedback so that we can keep making Quick Consols the leader in its field. The development plan for Q1 2025 has already been finalised so keep your eyes peeled for those updates.
If you’re short on time here’s a quick glance at the latest updates
Core consolidation module
- Duplicate rollup names are now allowed (provided they are not under the same parent rollup)
- Enhancement to the trial balance extract, which allows you to extract multiple TBs at once with additional data such as mapping
- New companies screen
- Business Unit filters (functionality to copy filters to selected entities). Previous option was to all companies
- Operational metric locks
- Additional reporting options to display different levels of data
- Report line items are now sorted as per rollup structure
Annual Financial Statements module
- Duplicate rollup names are now allowed (provided they are not under the same parent rollup)
1. Duplicate rollup name
- Duplicate rollup names are now allowed (provided they are not under the same parent rollup)
- Especially useful for our AFS users who may have the same line item appearing in multiple places in their reports.
2. Enhancement to the trial balance extract
- You now have ability to extract TBs for multiple companies for multiple months
- In addition, data extract will provide information on where the GLs have been mapped
- Operations->Data Exports->Select Companies->Select Rollup
3. New companies screen
- Companies screen has a brand new look
- All company details and any “to do’s” in one place
- This completely replaces the old dropdown menu as well the the “Search” function and advanced grid layout
4. Business Unit filters
- Functionality to copy the filter
- Edit filters for selected companies
5. Additional reporting options to display different levels of data, in addition sorting on reports as per rollup structure
- You now have the option to present your reports with additional rollup displays
- Level 3 rollups are now also sorted as per the rollup structure
- Beneficial when stacking up information in different periods
6. Operational metric locks
- Ability to lock operational metrics after month end
